California natural wine made in the Bay Area. I farm a couple acres of Chardonnay in Sonoma, and the rest of my production comes from fruit purchased from close friends. In the vineyards there are no synthetics or carcinogenic inputs. The aim is small pockets of vines within oak woodlands, mountain ridges and riparian areas rather than large monocultures. Most fruit comes from Sonoma County while some friendships with growers in the Sierra Foothills and Mendocino County remain close to heart. In the cellar things are kept simple, all the wines spend their entire lives in oak barrels with no additions or subtractions of any kind. This is a one person operation and so visits and direct sales aren't always possible, but it never hurts to ask.
